I’m Crysteaux (cris-TOH). I’m a Millennial who grew up reading a lot, playing some piano here and there, baking for my make-believe restaurant, watching movies with my family, and absorbing emanations of my sister’s taste in indie rock. As an adult, my biggest passions have been indie pop, psychology, food and movies–stuff I write about here. I hope that my reflections can spark some new ideas and dialogue.

Overall, I strive to be an advocate for cultural enrichment and human health, channeling my favorite mental health influencers, Drs. Kirk Honda, Alok Kanojia and Ana Yudin. The other pop culture figures I won’t shut up about are my indie pop queens, Charli xcx, Kali Uchis, Lana del Rey, Carly Rae Jepsen, Oklou, Grimes, and Kacey Musgraves. Yep, that’s my crowd.
